A picture on this blog is quite amazing. Although this is not a picture of the snow in our backyard this winter, the only giveaway is the corn stalks not poking up out of the garden!
It is wonderful to be in Minnesota, but I am having trouble getting back in the saddle. We had a long day of travel to get back and I am more or less pooped.
I'm looking forward to the inauguration tomorrow. It is a notable milestone in the history of the country. Wahoo.
I am looking forward to some comments! Thanks! Take care.

I am so glad to have you back in MN. I took out the camera this morning when the trees were so perfectly gilded with frost. I can't wait to get them on the computer and look more closely at them.
I am also looking forward to watching all of the events of tomorrow unfold.
What???? doesn't anyone have anything to say about the inauguration? We watched what we could at work. When I got home from work I flipped through the channels to watch also what I could. Having been in DC so recently it felt like I was there as the cameras panned the National Mall.
You gotta get to me through facebook--that's the quickest way! I loved the inauguration so much! Except for the poem which I thought was lame. Go Obama!
What COULD one say about the inauguration? Although I DID love the poem. . . it is indicitive of the next four years! Nothing to worry about . . . all our troubles are over. . . our savior has arrived. . . at least according to the media.
That ought to get you some comments Vicki!
Thanks for coming to the gym today. I had a great time and I loved your cheery sweater. Makes me think Spring is coming!
Vicki, I haven't figured out face book, but had left a message I thought you could read, then just cut and pasted it on your page. Go figure. Saw Carol U. at the Ashby/Evansville basketball game. I enjoyed yesterday, especially the ride over, it is a day I will never forget, I am so thankful. I sit here at the computer and grin. We have the inaugeration recorded, I missed the poem, I had Dan's son Garin, age 3, Don and I took turns watching him so we could see everything. I teared up often. I agree with Michelle O. I am proud of our country, and haven't been for awhile. We have to pray, pray, pray for all our leaders.
Hi Vicki
Never did this before. I see that salutations are not required. I'm learning many things from my computer. Love your comments on birds & bunnies. We feed lots & lots of each plus a few squirrels. Today our Big Daddy woodpecker showed up for the first time this year. He's so awesome. Also feeding several deer & today 2 pheasants were picking out the oats from the hay pile. I will miss living here not for my house but for our furred & feathered family. Of course, the dog & cat will come with us. I'd like to put a requirement in our sales contract that all the wildlife here must be cared for. Hard to enforce that one. Oofta, I have to restrai myself. This was too much like fun. And P.S. your photo is beautiful.
