Both George and I are suffering from severe colds..... but as long as we're both on our feet, there is always hope we will survive! AS you can see, I am not in the most upbeat of moods. For good measure it is foggy today!
The bright spot is our wonderful grandson. He's watching cartoons for a bit, then gets himself dressed and ready for school. Then I will walk him to the bus at 8:15. What a cutie.
John is already at work. How he keeps all the balls in the air. I can't understand. After school Matthew goes to youth center, then John picks him up and takes him to basketball practice where John also helps with the coaching. Then home for supper, which he has already prepared and I just have to put in the crock pot later this morning. Fantastic.
My e-mail is no longer working. But you can leave a remark in the comments of the blog, or on Facebook, and I will try to get back to you. We are planning on returning about the middle of the month. It'll be great to see you all.
Take care.

Glad to hear you are enjoying your time with family.
We returned home last night. I can happily say it is good to be home. Always good to see other parts of the world to appreciate good old MN.
We too, developed severe colds while we were gone. Hot and humid outdoors to indoors with AC made for the perfect storm. We have gone through many boxes of cold medicine and kleenex.
Anxious to see everyone.
I am so glad you are soon coming home!!! I emailed you yesterday and it was returned saying it was full.
You are having a great time and that is so good, but I am sorry you have colds. Tell George he is not allowed to let it go to bronchitis again.
The men cancelled the lunch this month, as Bud and Lee are in Rochester, about her shoulder, and George is gone.
I'm on the search committee for a new pastor, and that is quite a process, even tho we don't go through the call process with the synod. I was on the committee when we got Duane Tollefson, and I hope we are as fortunate this time too. Bud is preaching this month, and Carl is doing confirmation. Bud is such a great preacher - like water on a parched land. The people just love him and wish he would take the job. But he won't - like Carl, it is too much for an old man!
Speaking of Carl, his polymyalgia has really been acting up, and he has a backache from almost falling out of bed again (we did get a guard rail now so that won't happen), so he went to the Healing Hearts Massage lady that used to come to Evansville, now is only in Alex. I hope it helps.
OK - it will be great to see you guys - and don't forget that I want you and hope that you will help me with Spanish. The Latin course is up and running again too, so how can I do both at once? With difficulty.
See you soon - love, Carol Jean
Jeff and Janiece will be home from Asheville at the end of the week. Had a call from Janiece yesterday --they are all fighting colds!!! The moral to this story is __STAY HOME.
I have a book club meeting at the library tonight. My friend Ruth has an interference and can't go ...so she brought her remarks for me to take.
On my walk this morning I met two people( strangers) who said it feels like spring. Mild and windy. Snow melting. Take Care. Love, Fran.
Janiece says she took something called Musinic DM and it cleared up her head etc. in one evening. I think that's what she said it was called....Jeff is home and she is staying to spend some time with Lauren until next Wednesday.
Hope you are feeling better. Love, Fran.
Dear Loretta, Sorry you have both been ill. I'm certain you are still enjoying being with John and Matthew. We have tons of snow and more on the way with bitter cold to follow. That's Wisconsin for you. Let us know when your e-mail gets up and running. Elaine V.
If you can bring up the Gardonville site ~ you can log into webmail and clean out your mailbox. This should take care of your full box.
As for the colds, I haven't had one yet. I took my oils to Jamaica and one day Tim had stomach issues, I put a couple drops of oils in his Coke and he was better by afternoon. Sounds too good to be true - but then so is salvation!!
Hugs from your Favorite Gym buddy!
