New Year!

This green should wake you up! Green is the color of new growth, and that is my prayer for all of us this year. I hope that we will allow new ideas and actions to flower into beautiful new inspirations.

My brain has been on vacation as I have been reading too much. My new chair is so comfortable that I have taken a quiet vacation sitting and reading. You know how a dog looks when he comes out of the lake and shakes the water off his coat? That is how I feel today. I am shaking myself and getting back in the game. I will have to limit the HOURS spent in the comfy new chair! I have an appointment with the eye doctor today. Perhaps new glasses will also help.

Take care. And may all your resolutions be good ones and be carried out! Aye, there's the rub. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

No resolutions here. I approach those things with the same attitude as going to the gym or dieting. If I fall off the wagon today I get back on tomorrow and go from there. What can I say? ? ? ? ? I am human and realize my shortcomings and weaknesses. I try to be realistic in my expectations. That way I am not disappointed but rather when I DO overcome I can view it as a victory!! Might sound silly but it works for me.

The green is quite cheery!!

I think you could use your "chair" time as a reward. If you accomplish all your tasks or go to the gym then you get a set amount of time in your comfy chair. As I said before, I can totally see why you could spend hours sitting in that wonderful chair!!

I have a decorative card of a wrinkled old woman and the caption is -Oh to be 70 again. Take it easy and one day at a time. Let me know about the cataract probability. Love,, Fran.

We need some help here, getting "4"comments" is the magic button to get a new blog!

Fran, your "oh to be 70 again" card is too funny!!!

Okay you two Karen's--it's time that you created your own blogs. It's easy and fun, and we would all love it! That way Mom could not feel so much pressure after the 4th comment!

We only ask because we enjoy her blogs so much. Love all her childhood memories and pictures!!

I should contemplate a blog. We always have so much going on and that way everyone could share in our adventures without me having to e-mail everyone separately. I would definitely need instructions though!

My life is boring-no one would be interested unless I jump off 700 foot bridges on a regular basis.

Besides.....my use of the English language is so limited, unlike our beloved Vicki.

Blogs are so easy! If you go to Mom's blog and click up in the right hand corner "Create Blog" and then just follow the instructions they give you: Voila! You too can be the proud new owner of a blog! And Karen L: you could do a farm blog about all of the stuff that you do on the farm, from a woman's perspective. I would find that fascinating; especially if you included pictures.

A Farm Blog!! Now that would be something to write about. And how about the home remodel????

I find that sometimes the everyday items are as interesting as the Lifetime items like jumping off a 700 foot bridge, although that IS interesting. Karen L is much more woman than I to attempt such a feat, and you are very unlikely to read about such exotic adventures were I to have a blog!!
