Enough, already!

I have friends who are always sending me political slams from both sides of the political spectrum. Some are arch-conservatives and some liberals. When Bush was president I was always hearing from liberals. Now I am constantly bombarded by snide stuff from the right. Get a life. We are all in the same boat. Let's hope it all works out more or less the way we hope.

I, myself, am in the middle. I used to say I was an independent, but then they got an Independent Party of which I am not a member, so now I just say I'm in the middle. I vote for the person who I think will do the best job.

During the last ENDLESS compaign, I got so sick of all the folderol on TV I was overjoyed when the vote was cast and it was supposedly OVER. Ha. Here in Minnesota we still don't know who our Senator is. Sigh.

My brother is going to hit the big 85 on Monday. Wow. Happy Birthday, Bud! Sorry to hear you have had so much snow again this year. We have beautiful snow here, too, but not enough to inconvenience us in any way. George has shoveled it out and even got a chance to use his snow blower. The birds are feasting on the suet and bird seed, and the trees are frosted with snow.

Take care.

I moved north to Helena, Montana and got the mildest winter and lovely sunny weather. Go figure. As far as movies are concerned I look at the oldies with my Netflix. Look at most of them on my computer so I can work on my tapestry hooking at the same time..I can walk to the cinema but have seen only 2 since I moved here. Appaloosa-because Ed Harris and his father (my friend) Bob are in it. And Mama Mia because Janiece loves it. It is a romp.

I agree with you Vicki. I also consider myself middle, neither ultra conservative yet not ultral liberal-whatever one considers that to be. I give my votes to both side of the line-who I think will or at least will try to do the job with integrity and do what is right by America. Given the state of our union neither party can argue with any definitive position why or how they are doing a better job for America.

Anyway on a brighter note, it is nearly the 1st of March and spring can't be far away.

I am off to Texas for a few days, leaving on Tuesday for a convention with Jeffrey. The weather is supposed to be grand there for the week. Digging out some spring clothing today to pack.

Glad to see you posting so soon!! I agree that we should vote for whoever is going to do the most good for America. I wish Party lines didn't exist and we voted merely on the nominee's past voting record. I think people would be more active in their participation.

KL ~ Leaving for Texas. . .sounds nice!! How did you manage a few days off?

Fran ~ what is the chance we could get a picture of your latest rug hooking?? You do such beautiful work!!
