Well, I am celebrating waking up without a headache! I am up and dressed and soon will go to the gym. It is supposed to be warmer today, too. Yippee.
I just finished reading a novel, The Story of Edgar Sawtelle. It is the first novel by the writer, David Wroblewski. I loved it. It kept me guessing but by the end, I think I understood all of the ins and outs of it. If you are a dog-lover, it is a must read for you. All kinds of information about dog training.... Most of which I do not understand.
I'm off and running. I am desperate to find a new book to read. I'll get back to you with the choice I make.
Take care.

My corn on the cob turned out to be delicious. I was pleased to see you were producing a blog --indicates you are feeling better. Nice talking to you. Fran.
Well, let me be of assistance to you. . . I heard of this really awesome book. It is "Media Malpractice". Food for thought!
Spring is nearly here and that alone is motivating!!
Thanks for coming to the gym. . . it is always such a treat to see you.
KL good thing you aren't coming to the gym for awhile ~ maybe by then I will have forgotten your comment! HAHA I did get a good laugh out of it!
Wish I could come to the Gym during the day but this tax job has been getting in the way. I woke up with bags under my eyes and it is not from staying up late reading a good book. It has been a busy week and I can't even say "yippee" to it being Friday. More tax appointments loom on the horizon for Saturday.
KW.....I knew you would see the "karen" humor and take it for only that. It is only admiration that I have for you.
Let's hear a round of applause for Vicki!!!!
SHE MADE IT TO THE GYM "3" DAYS THIS WEEK!!!!!
I thought she deserved a ribbon but she suggested a trophy. I think we should reserve that distinction for a full "5" days in a week. I mean ~ she IS a butterfly afterall!! Not many of us can lay claim to that award!!!
It is horrible to think I am slipping into Spring Fever bad. Horrible only because I KNOW we have quite a bit of winter ahead of us and it can still be brutal and then I will border, with you Vicki, on the duldrums . You might have to share that glorious leather recliner with me!
So, until Monday, rest those weary muscles and we will see you then!!
As I said in my gazette --I went to the library for "The Story of Edgar Sawtelle) I could have been eighth on the list but chose to be 3rd of it in big print edition. She got one to show me what it looked like --she said some said they made them dizzy. We shall see. The book I am having for my selection at my book club is Alice Steinbach's "Educationg Alice." I am rereading it and like it as much as ever This next month we are doing Maya Angelo's "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings." Morgan and I heard her speak for an evening's program at the Concert Hall --last spring. Fran
Fran, it sounds like you could have a blog of your own about your daily doings AND you life story. I am amazed at all that you get accomplished.
Your constant quest for enrichment should be inspiration and lesson for many.
Vicki how did you get so lucky to have a sister like her?
Update on Edgar Sawtelle book. I went out to mail a letter and moseyed on to the bookstore --bought the Edgar book --the quotes from readers was very compelling, too. Also bought the new Botswana book of McCAll Smith. I am looking forward to my reading. I have so many now that I must get to having a reading fun time. Fran.
